Seeing these images, I am struck, every time, by the incredible sense of pride seemingly beaming from this mother-to-be, and I can’t help but think how this child will feel one day, looking back at these maternity portraits of his mother, before she has become a mother, glowing with joy in anticipation of his arrival. That is a gift. A portrait as proof of this particular moment in his mother’s life when her world changed, and that smile that she wore just waiting for it to happen.
