At nine days, Lola is almost the spitting image of her big brother who we photographed about three years ago (also at nine days). It’s always fun when clients bring in another new baby, and I get the privilege of photographing each addition to their growing family. Thanks to her early arrival, Lola’s portraits are from a rare evening session done in a makeshift studio of about six by six square feet, and they turned out pretty great. Sunset maternity portraits of her beautiful expecting mother (one of my oldest friends) were recently featured on the blog, and I know without a doubt, that some day, Lola will cherish those portraits of her mother glowing with expectation of who she might become. The thought makes my heart very happy. Thank you, my friend, for allowing me to witness these great moments through my camera. Congratulations! You are officially the mother of a beautiful baby girl.
