Reserve Your Session Date No Later Than 30 Weeks

Be sure to contact us during your pregnancy.  We recommend that you contact us to save your tentative session date no later than 30 weeks into your pregnancy. Studio availability fills up quickly, so please contact us early.  Please don’t wait until your baby is here to schedule your session!  During your pregnancy, we will reserve a tentative session date based on your due date.  After you deliver, please reach out to me as soon as possible to let me know that your little one has arrived, and we will finalize your session date for the soonest possible opening within the first 14 days.

Newborn Sessions Occur During the First Two Weeks of Your Baby’s Arrival

For the style of portraits that I offer, it is always best to photograph your baby within the first 14 days so that they stay in that adorable curled position and stay asleep for as long as possible.  After the first 14 days, newborns will begin to stretch out their legs and come out of that womb-like position, they begin to get much stronger, and they will sleep less.  In those early days, they’re much more limber, allowing adorable poses.

Thank you Peacetime Propaganda for the invaluable design work here and on everything we do!

Jennifer Najvar is a Newborn photographer in Austin, Texas.  Sessions are scheduled during the first 14 days after your baby’s arrival.  The best time to reserve your Newborn photography session is during your pregnancy before you reach 30 weeks.

OH HELLO

I'm Jennifer, owner and photographer, and I would love to help you plan a sunset maternity session in the Austin hill country, or beautiful, natural newborn portraits in our studio — or both.
